Support Worker Overview
Support Worker Overview
- Provide high quality, responsive and person-centred services that meet the physical, mental and emotional needs of clients and ensure people have choice and control over their own lives.
Live In Care Overview
- Daily tasks including bathing, getting dressed, cooking, eating, and help with medications are just some of the ways in which we care for our clients.
- In addition to providing personal care, live-in carers are often tasked with fulfilling a wide range of domestic responsibilities, such as cleaning, washing, grocery shopping, and more.
- A live-in care would often live with a client for a minimum of one week and up to two weeks at a time, with breaks of one to two weeks in between.
Visiting Carer Overview
- Ensure Clients are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
- To contribute to the efficient running of the service
- Ensure Care Plans and other information about how to support Clients are followed
- Working with a diverse clientele and always maintaining a positive attitude and demeanour are essential qualities for this position.

FAQ
Yes, you may need to help clients with tasks like:
- Showering and bathing
- Continence care
- Applying creams
- Administering medications
Full training is provided, as well as shadowing, so you’ll be comfortable with the tasks if you need to do them.
All of the live-in caregivers with whom we work are self-employed by us. However, we adequately train, oversee, and assist staff.
Visiting carers can be self employed if they wish.
