What we provide

Supported Living

We believe everyone has an opportunity to live a life they want irrespective of the challenges they face. Our supported living service does this by having trained staff who support clients with maintaining their tenancy, independent living skills, and access to community services. Our services are available to those who have a wide list of needs, including those with autism, learning difficulties, mental health issues, and acquired brain injuries.

Our support includes:

We Are Here To Help

Tailored Care Plans

The execution of a highly comprehensive method of care planning is based on a rigorous pre-placement assessment. Service users’ information is collected to ensure we understand why the placement is being suggested, what the care needs are likely to be, and the likely areas of challenge and work for staff. Through this method, with the service user, we will create defined goals and be clearer about the results we want to see for them.

Accommodation

Our accommodations are a vital part of our service which is why we carefully selected homes that emanate a warm and relaxing atmosphere. We then thoughtfully furnish the rooms so our service users would be happy to call it home.

Education and training

We encourage service users, who are able, to access education and training programmes. In cooperation with local authorities, we are committed to securing a placement in education for service users. Shortly after placement starts at Jankan Care, local educational and training centres would be contacted in the region and an appointment would be made for the individual to explore opportunities.

Therapeutic care

We accept that each person is an individual and that different methods and models will be suitable for different service users. Some may likely to have issues with their emotions due to life experiences, resulting in behavioural difficulties leading to challenging behaviours and attitudes. Which is why service users are educated on mental health by offering therapeutic care where appropriate.
